With the news saying that Takata airbags company announcing bankruptcy, Honda Malaysia has issued an update today regarding the replacement activities for Takata front airbag for all affected models throughout the month of July 2017.
As at 29 June 2017, the completion rate for Takata driver front airbag inflators reaches 80.2%. Honda Malaysia is here to ensure the safety of Honda customers via replacement activities at selected shopping malls nationwide and mobile sales roadshow in shopping malls on every weekend throughout the month of July. This is in addition to the ongoing replacement activities at all authorized Honda dealers and selected Petronas Stations. Honda Malaysia is doing its best in ensuring the increase of stock of Takata passenger front airbag inflators.
Customer are urged to make an appointment if they ought to replace their airbaags at authorized Honda service centres. Alternatively, customers can also head to shopping malls and petronas stations without any appointment require (Except Civic Type R).
