5 Things You Should Know About The 2018 Perodua Myvi ( 2017-11-10 )

The all-new 2018 Perodua Myvi has made its appearance recently at Malaysia Autoshow 2017. While we are only getting the sneak peek of it, many buyers have already showing great interest before the official launching later this week. The Myvi is open for booking starting today. 1. Five variants to choose from

The new Myvi is offered with the option of two EEV certified engines just like its successor. For all 1.3 models, the new Myvi are being equipped with 1.3L 1NR-VE engine unit which is the same unit found in the Bezza 1.3L. For all 1.5 models, the new Myvi will be equipped with 1.5L 2NR-VE engine unit which powers the Avanza and Toyota Vios.  

2. Keyless Entry and four airbags as standard

Besides the features that stated above, all new Myvi will standardize electronic stability control and push start ignition for all variants. Eco Idle will be available from 1.3 Premium X variant.

3. All equipped LED headlamps

Perodua has equipped their latest Myvi with the LED headlamps with ‘Follow Me Home’ function starting from the Myvi base variant. On the rear, the new Myvi is equipped with rear combination lamps with light guides. From the brochure, we can all agree that they look fantastic.

4. First to feature Advance Safety Assist (ASA)

The Myvi Advance variant will features Advance Safety Assist (ASA) which is a suite of safety features that includes Pre-Collision Warning (PCW), Pre-Collision Braking (PCB), Front Departure Alert (FDA) and Pedal Misoperation Control (PMC).

5. New colours join on board.

The new Myvi will be available in Lava Red, Mystical Purple, Glittering Silver, Ivory White. For the first time joining the league will be Granite Grey for 1.5 models only and Peppermint Green for 1.3 models only.
